First cube of concrete poured at the OPUS club residence site

PIONEER announced the pouring of the first cube of concrete at the OPUS club residence construction site. In August, the builders concreted the foundation slab on an area of over 1,000 m2. A 52 metre high Liebherr tower crane was also installed for further monolithic works.

FODD, the general contractor, is actively carrying out zero-cycle works for the project on Derbenevskaya Embankment. Works on concrete preparation, laying of waterproofing on the area of over 3,500 m2 are being carried out, as well as the reinforcement framework of the foundation slab is being installed.

At the same time, works continue in the area of the OPUS class A business centre. In July, the removal of the heating network from the construction area was completed, sheet piling and excavation works are in progress. Over 130 people are involved in the construction of the OPUS club residence and business centre.

“The first cube of concrete of the foundation slab is an important stage in the development of the OPUS project. The club residence will change the look of the whole neighbourhood and the development front of Derbenevskaya Embankment. To realise such a responsible project we have attracted the best: the architecture of the club residence was developed by Tsimailo Lyashenko & Partners, and the general contractor FODD is bringing these ideas to life” PIONEER stated.

The OPUS club residence and business centre are being built on Derbenevskaya Street, near the Paveletskaya metro station. The residence is designed for 188 apartments, each of which has high scenic characteristics. Due to its unique shape, the project will also feature apartments with terraces, with bathrooms and dressing rooms with a window. The business centre will create 2947 workplaces. OPUS infrastructure will include shops, cafes and restaurants, and the territory will be signature landscaped. The project is scheduled for completion in 2025.
