Team PIONEER Wins at the "BIM Leaders 2023/24" Competition

The PIONEER development team, along with BIM designer WE-ON, secured first place in the nationwide “BIM Leaders 2023/24” competition, winning in the category of “Information Modelling of Residential Buildings” for the “BIM-Project + BIM-Construction” stage. The joint team presented a case study on the digitalisation of the OPUS construction project, which includes a club house and business centre under construction on Derbenevskaya Embankment in Moscow.

Together, the companies implemented a bilateral automation of the project, using software such as NIKA RD, NIKA MOTION, Naviswork, Tangl control, and other digitalisation tools. By automating design processes and other tasks, the companies successfully achieved accurate tracking of employee labour costs, compiled correct statistics, updated and controlled documentation workflow, and enhanced the precision of decision-making. The digitalisation applies to all stages of OPUS’s construction: PIONEER ensures the relevance of documentation sets using Signal software, employs Hardroller software for creating, coordinating, and signing executive documentation, and utilises Basis Real Estate software to digitise construction control.

“Recognition by the BIM Leaders professional jury affirms PIONEER’s correct strategy for digitising business processes and the progressiveness of its decisions. Our case was previously highlighted at professional conferences and remains one of the few implemented digitisation projects in development,” said Elizaveta Likhachova, Head of the Digital Modelling Division at PIONEER.

The OPUS club house and business centre are de luxe class projects currently under construction on Derbenevskaya Embankment. The club house features just 188 apartments and boasts memorable architecture by the firm “Tsimailo Lyashenko and Partners.” The structures are currently at the monolithic construction stage. The buildings are scheduled for completion in 2025.

“BIM Leaders” is an open nationwide competition held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Construction. This year, specialists from 30 cities and regions participated, presenting more than 150 projects to the jury. The aim of the competition is to identify companies with practical experience using information modelling technologies and to promote the achievements of Russia’s top BIM specialists.
