BFM.RU: Around Paveletskaya. On the craving for uniqueness

What does a modern Moscow resident expect from high-class properties? And what values of the 21st century are real estate developers focusing on when transforming the historical centre of Moscow, turning the once sleepy environs of the Paveletskaya metro station into one of the most modern, dynamically developing and architecturally bold urban districts? The answers to these questions are revealed in the follow-up to the joint project by PIONEER and BFM.RU.

«According to PIONEER, which is creating a whole residential cluster in the Paveletsky district between the Garden Ring and the Moskva River embankment, the first request of buyers with a budget is the same — location, location, location. Statistics say that despite the obvious decentralisation of the premium market, last year the lion’s share of transactions still took place within the boundaries of the Garden Ring and around it.

However, the strict conservatism of the premium class has been replaced by an interest in opening up new horizons. Khamovniki and Yakimanka now have to seriously compete with Krasnaya Presnya, Danilovsky district and Paveletskaya itself. This is also due to the appearance of two landmark projects by PIONEER: the premium neighbourhood HIGH LIFE on Letnikovskaya Street, designed by the architectural bureau ADM, and the club residence OPUS on Derbenevskaya Street, created by the architectural bureau Tsimailo Lyashenko and Partners.

By the way, a unique architectural look and unmistakable recognisability of creative handwriting is the next indispensable request of sophisticated buyers in architecture and design. Both of the architectural bureaus engaged by the property developer are among the ten most influential players in Moscow’s architectural market and have already made a significant contribution to the development of the capital’s premium and elite segments. There is also the renowned Spanish bureau Jaime Beriestain Studio, which has designed lobbies and lift halls for HIGH LIFE, and designer Natalia Belonogova, whose fascinating signature totems bring OPUS public spaces into dialogue with the famous Parisian L’Atelier Brancusi and Musée du quai Branly”.

Among PIONEER’s partners, there are no accidental ones, hastily and randomly selected. Construction is also in safe hands: the general contractor for HIGH LIFE is the Turkish company ANTTEQ, often called “the leader in skyscrapers”, and the experienced FODD has been invited to realise the refined forms of OPUS. In this chorus everyone has their own bright, clearly calibrated part, and the overall melody is modern, magically beautiful and unmistakably recognisable: this is how the newly born Paveletskaya sounds in Moscow now».
